My essence photo was taken on a camping trip this previous summer. Nature plays a large role in my life, and because I am a middle level science major, I feel that I can easily incorporate my love of nature in my teaching.
To edit this photo, I first spent time trying all of the different filters and adjusting levels and such. After I felt more comfortable with the program, I deleted all of the changes I had made and started over. I first went under the "Image" tab and went into adjustments, and adjusted the color levels of the picture, enhancing the green and lightening shadows as it was very dark. I then went into the "Filter" tab and selected "Plastic Wrap", making the image kind of look like it had a water element as well.
